Industrial air coolers are supplied for inland UAE locations such as Al Ain where the air is dry enough for direct evaporative cooling to work well, and for spot cooling applications elsewhere. We specify by site rather than assuming one answer covers the whole country.
In United Arab Emirates, design dry-bulb runs at 45-48°C (June-August) and coastal relative humidity at 60-85%, which is why our recommendation for the location is idec / adiabatic + hvls on the coast; dec inland. On that basis, direct units are limited to inland sites such as Al Ain and to spot duty elsewhere, because coastal humidity leaves too little margin for a plain evaporative cooler to work with.
