Manufacturer, Supplier & Exporter of Industrial Air Coolers for Africa.
Air Care System & Solution India Pvt. Ltd. manufactures direct evaporative industrial air coolers for factory floors, workshops, warehouses and covered work areas. Industrial air coolers and direct evaporative units are supplied to dry inland African markets - the South African Highveld, northern Nigeria, inland Tanzania and the drier parts of East Africa - where they deliver a large temperature drop on a very small electrical load.
Specification for Africa starts from the local design condition – hot, low humidity - DEC performs strongly against hot, 70-85% RH - IDEC and HVLS – rather than from a generic national figure. In practice suitability swings enormously between a dry Highveld or northern Nigerian site and a saturated coastal one, so we quote against the specific town rather than the continent. Coverage includes Kenya - Nairobi, Mombasa, Athi River, Nigeria - Lagos, Kano, Port Harcourt and Tanzania - Dar es Salaam, Arusha, along with Kenya and Nigeria.
Single phase power supply on standard units; main load is a fan and a pump only
Robust industrial construction designed for continuous seasonal duty and easy pad access
Capacities from single-workstation units up to whole-shed installations
Standard ranges at 4,000 and 6,000 CFM, with larger duties built to order
Benefits
Running cost is a small fraction of refrigerant air conditioning for the same floor area
Solves ventilation and cooling in one system, since supply air is entirely fresh
Low capital cost per square foot cooled compared with any ducted conditioned system
Applications in Africa
Food, beverage & agro processing – Cooling for grading, sorting and packing halls where filtered fresh air also supports hygiene requirements.
Mining & minerals processing – Cooling for workshops, change houses, control rooms and manned processing plant areas.
Cement & building materials – Cooling at packing plant, workshop and control room positions within a dusty, high-heat environment.
Textiles, weaving & processing – Cooling over loom, stitching and inspection floors where operator density is high and heat load is continuous.
Warehousing & logistics – Zone cooling at picking, packing and dispatch stations rather than across the full storage volume.
Working With Us in Africa
We size against your building – span, roof height, heat load, existing services and production pattern – rather than issuing a catalogue selection and leaving the checking to you. We manufacture from our own facilities at Pune, Hyderabad and Tirunelveli, and hold a 4.9 out of 5 rating from 33 Google reviews.
Frequently Asked Questions
How often do the cooling pads need replacing?
Pad life depends far more on water quality than on running hours. With treated water and a correctly set bleed rate, pads last several seasons. With untreated hard water they will scale and block within a single season, which is why we specify water treatment and a cleaning schedule as part of the design.
How is this equipment shipped to Africa?
Shipped FOB Nhava Sheva (JNPT) or Mundra to Mombasa, Dar es Salaam, Lagos (Apapa / Tin Can Island), Tema, Durban and Ngqura. Export packing is specified for the route and handling conditions, and documentation is prepared as part of the order rather than after it. Spares and consumables are normally shipped with the consignment so a replacement part does not become a separate small shipment later.
Do you provide pre-export verification of conformity documentation for Africa?
Yes. We prepare the product technical documentation, test data and declarations needed to support the PVoC or equivalent scheme operated by the destination country, and we work alongside the customer's appointed conformity assessment body. The certificate itself is issued by the accredited body rather than by the manufacturer, so our role is to prepare and support the file so the consignment is not held at port.
