The UAE's coastal industrial belt is hot and humid simultaneously, which rules out direct evaporative cooling as a primary system for most locations. Our standard specification for UAE projects is indirect-direct or adiabatic cooling, which cools supply air through a heat exchanger without raising its moisture content, combined with HVLS fans that move very large volumes of air at low power. Inland locations such as Al Ain are drier and can use direct evaporative systems effectively, so we specify by site rather than by country.

The combination of high ambient temperature, high humidity and salt-laden coastal air drives three specification decisions for UAE projects: corrosion protection on housings, fasteners and structural components; motor and control gear rated for sustained high-temperature operation rather than peak; and adiabatic or indirect cooling stages that do not add moisture to an already humid space. Where a building also needs to meet Dubai Municipality green building requirements or the Estidama Pearl rating in Abu Dhabi, we support the equipment performance data the submission requires.
Industrial air coolers are supplied for inland UAE locations such as Al Ain where the air is dry enough for direct evaporative cooling to work well, and for spot cooling applications elsewhere. Indirect-direct evaporative and Oxycom adiabatic systems are our primary recommendation for coastal UAE projects. Cooling through a heat exchanger without adding moisture is the only evaporative approach that performs in JAFZA, Al Quoz, Musaffah and Sharjah conditions, and chiller pre-cooling recovers capacity lost at high ambient. Factory fabricated ducting in GI, stainless steel and aluminium is manufactured to approved drawings and export-packed for Jebel Ali, Khalifa Port and Hamriyah, supplied with insulated PUF sandwich panels and modular enclosures for food, pharmaceutical and controlled-area work.
