Nagpur combines heavy industry at Butibori MIDC - one of the largest industrial estates in Asia - with the engineering and component base at Hingna MIDC, the logistics and aerospace cluster at MIHAN-SEZ, and power, steel and agro-processing capacity across Kalmeshwar, Koradi and Umred. Air Care System & Solution India Pvt. Ltd. supplies industrial air coolers, evaporative cooling systems, HVLS fans, factory fabricated ducting and exhaust systems to all of it, with Maharashtra projects supported from our Pune manufacturing facility.
Nagpur records some of the highest summer temperatures of any major industrial city in India, regularly crossing 46°C in May, and it does so with very dry air. That combination is the best possible case for evaporative cooling: the hotter and drier the ambient, the larger the drop a direct evaporative system delivers. For a Butibori or Hingna plant, evaporative cooling in the working areas plus HVLS fans across large spans typically transforms shop-floor conditions at a running cost that refrigerant air conditioning cannot approach at that scale.
| Peak summer dry-bulb | 46-47°C (May) |
| Design wet-bulb | approx. 24-25°C |
| Summer relative humidity | 15-25% |
| Recommended primary system | Direct evaporative cooling (DEC) + HVLS air movement |
At Nagpur's peak condition the wet-bulb depression is wide enough that evaporative cooling delivers close to its maximum useful drop, and the economics are correspondingly strong. Two design points need attention. First, at these ambient temperatures the roof itself becomes a major radiant heat source, so roof-level extraction to remove the hot layer is as important as supplying cool air below. Second, the very large warehouse and logistics buildings around MIHAN need destratification as much as cooling, which is where HVLS fans do most of the work.
Direct evaporative coolers are the lead product for Nagpur. At the city's extreme summer dry-bulb and very low humidity, evaporative cooling achieves close to its best possible performance, and at Butibori and Hingna scale the running-cost gap against refrigerant cooling is decisive. Two-stage, indirect-direct and Oxycom adiabatic systems are supplied where a Nagpur facility needs controlled conditions through the monsoon, and Oxycom pre-cooling for air-cooled chillers is particularly relevant here, where extreme ambient temperatures push existing chiller plant beyond its design point. HVLS fans are essential in the very large logistics and manufacturing buildings around MIHAN and Butibori. They destratify the full building height and move air across spans that no number of wall-mounted fans could cover effectively. Read more about High Volume Low Speed Fans (HVLS Fans).
We manufacture factory fabricated ducting in heavy-gauge GI, stainless steel and aluminium for Nagpur's power, steel and process plants, in rectangular, round, oval, spiral and hollow profile forms, with insulated PUF panels where thermal performance is required. Furnaces, kilns, casting bays and boiler houses across the Nagpur belt generate high-temperature exhaust loads. We design flue gas exhaust and fume extraction systems, roof ventilators and make-up air arrangements suited to sustained high-temperature duty.
