Jaipur and its industrial ring - Sitapura, VKI Area, Bagru, Jhotwara, Kukas and the Mahindra World City corridor - operate through some of the harshest summer conditions of any manufacturing centre in the country. Dry-bulb temperatures cross 45°C, and the sheeted roofs typical of gem cutting units, printing works, engineering shops and food processing plants radiate that heat directly onto the working floor. Air Care System & Solution India Pvt. Ltd. designs and manufactures the industrial air coolers, evaporative cooling systems, HVLS fans, ducting and exhaust equipment that make those buildings workable.
Jaipur is close to the ideal case for evaporative cooling. Summer relative humidity here drops into the teens, which produces the widest wet-bulb depression of any city we serve in India and therefore the largest achievable temperature drop from a direct evaporative cooler. Running cost per square foot cooled is a fraction of refrigerant air conditioning, and because the system supplies 100% outside air it also solves the ventilation problem at the same time. For a Rajasthan plant, that is usually the single highest-return investment available on the shop floor.
| Peak summer dry-bulb | 45-46°C (May-June) |
| Design wet-bulb | approx. 23-24°C |
| Summer relative humidity | 15-25% |
| Recommended primary system | Direct evaporative cooling (DEC) - highest efficiency case |
With a wet-bulb depression of over 20 degrees at peak, direct evaporative cooling in Jaipur delivers close to its theoretical best. Design attention shifts from cooling capacity to two other things: water quality, since Rajasthan's hard groundwater will scale pads and clog distribution unless treated, and exhaust path planning, because a 100% fresh-air system only works if there is a designed route for air to leave the building. We address both at design stage rather than after commissioning.
Direct evaporative coolers are the highest-return product we supply into Jaipur. With summer humidity in the teens, the achievable temperature drop is the largest of any Indian city we serve, and the running cost - essentially a fan and a pump - is a small fraction of refrigerant cooling for the same area. Where a Jaipur facility needs tighter control or must hold conditions through the short monsoon, we supply two-stage and indirect-direct evaporative systems along with the Oxycom adiabatic range, including pre-cooling for air-cooled chillers where existing plant capacity is being pushed by extreme ambient temperatures. HVLS fans suit Sitapura and VKI Area sheds with large open spans and dense operator seating. One fan covers a very large floor area, and paired with evaporative supply air it distributes cooled air evenly instead of leaving hot pockets at the far end of the building. Factory fabricated ducting is supplied in GI, stainless steel and aluminium for Jaipur's food processing, pharmaceutical and engineering plants, in rectangular, round, oval, spiral and hollow profile forms, together with insulated PUF sandwich panels and modular enclosures. Stone cutting, marble finishing, printing and foundry work in the Jaipur belt generate heavy dust and fume loads. We design extraction with correct capture velocity at the hood, a duct route that will not settle out, and a make-up air path sized to the volume being removed.
